GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The translation of documents for the court by translators empanelled by the court under the Bombay Court Fees Act, 1959, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every translator empanelled by the court carrying on the translation of documents for the court shall furnish Form C to the High Court within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every translator empanelled by the court carrying on the translation of documents for the court shall make an application in Form C to the High Court within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the translation of documents for the court is undertaken, and the High Court shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Maharashtra.
