GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The use of electricity by consumers under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Electrical Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every consumer carrying on the use of electricity shall furnish Form II to the Appropriate Commission within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every consumer carrying on the use of electricity shall make an application in Form II to the Appropriate Commission within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of electricity is undertaken, and the Appropriate Commission shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Gujarat.
