GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land by holders of land under the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land carrying on the holding of land shall furnish Form 7 to the Tahsildar within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Tahsildar within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
