GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of a waqf by mutawallis under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Charity Commissioner, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall furnish Form A to the Charity Commissioner within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall make an application in Form A to the Charity Commissioner within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a waqf is undertaken, and the Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
