GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The development of a Special Economic Zone by developers under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the adjudicating authority, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every developer carrying on the development of a Special Economic Zone shall furnish Form SEZ-1 to the Director General within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every developer carrying on the development of a Special Economic Zone shall make an application in Form SEZ-1 to the Director General within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the development of a Special Economic Zone is undertaken, and the Director General shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka.
