GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sale of excisable articles by licensees under the Uttar Pradesh Excise Act, 1910, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee carrying on the sale of excisable articles shall furnish Form C to the Commissioner within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the sale of excisable articles shall make an application in Form C to the Commissioner within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of excisable articles is undertaken, and the Commissioner shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
