GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The construction of buildings in a vulnerable area by owners of a building in a vulnerable area under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the District Collector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a building in a vulnerable area carrying on the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area shall furnish Form B to the National Authority within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building in a vulnerable area carrying on the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area shall make an application in Form B to the National Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area is undertaken, and the National Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
