ORDER

Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall furnish Form 7 to the State Government within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 7 to the State Government within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
