GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The execution of contracts by contractors under the Maharashtra Fiscal Responsibility and Budgetary Management Act, 2005, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Drawing and Disbursing Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor carrying on the execution of contracts shall furnish Form GFR 21 to the Government of Maharashtra within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor carrying on the execution of contracts shall make an application in Form GFR 21 to the Government of Maharashtra within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of contracts is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra.
