In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the State Armed Police Forces (Extension of Laws) Act, 1952 (63 of 1952), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 9 shall, subject to its control, also be exercisable by the officer in charge of a police station.
