Mumbai, dated the 27th December, 2012

GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The holding of land by holders of land under the Maharashtra Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1948, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land carrying on the holding of land shall furnish Form 1 to the Collector within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Collector within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Maharashtra.
