GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: Dealing in motor vehicles by dealers under the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1958, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the registering authority, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in motor vehicles shall furnish Form 29 to the Regional Transport Authority within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in motor vehicles shall make an application in Form 29 to the Regional Transport Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in motor vehicles is undertaken, and the Regional Transport Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra.
