GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The registration of instruments by registering officers under the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Collector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every registering officer carrying on the registration of instruments shall furnish Form B to the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority within six months.
2. The matter has been examined. Every registering officer carrying on the registration of instruments shall make an application in Form B to the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority within six months, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the registration of instruments is undertaken, and the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority shall dispose of it within six months of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Karnataka.
