GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of foreign exchange by persons resident in India under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the adjudicating authority, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person resident in India carrying on the holding of foreign exchange shall furnish Form ANF-3A to the Director General within one hundred and eighty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every person resident in India carrying on the holding of foreign exchange shall make an application in Form ANF-3A to the Director General within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of foreign exchange is undertaken, and the Director General shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka.
