GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The command of a ship by masters under the Maharashtra Maritime Board Act, 1996, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Principal Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every master carrying on the command of a ship shall furnish Form 2 to the Port Authority within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every master carrying on the command of a ship shall make an application in Form 2 to the Port Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the command of a ship is undertaken, and the Port Authority shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Maharashtra.
