GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The engagement of employees through an immediate employer by principal employers under the Kerala Headload Workers Act, 1978, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Social Security Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every principal employer carrying on the engagement of employees through an immediate employer shall furnish Form 1 to the appropriate Government within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every principal employer carrying on the engagement of employees through an immediate employer shall make an application in Form 1 to the appropriate Government within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the engagement of employees through an immediate employer is undertaken, and the appropriate Government shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Kerala.
