GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The command of a ship by masters under the Tamil Nadu Maritime Board Act, 1995, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Principal Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every master carrying on the command of a ship shall furnish Form 1 to the Government of Tamil Nadu within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every master carrying on the command of a ship shall make an application in Form 1 to the Government of Tamil Nadu within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the command of a ship is undertaken, and the Government of Tamil Nadu shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
