Puducherry, dated the 10th January, 2012

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land by holders of land under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land carrying on the holding of land shall furnish Form 7 to the State Government within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 7 to the State Government within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Puducherry.
