GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The working of a port by port authorities under the Gujarat Maritime Board Act, 1981, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Principal Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every port authority carrying on the working of a port shall furnish Form 2 to the Port Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every port authority carrying on the working of a port shall make an application in Form 2 to the Port Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a port is undertaken, and the Port Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Gujarat.
