In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Coal India (Regulation of Transfer and Validation) Act, 2000 (45 of 2000), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 9 shall, subject to its control, also be exercisable by the Inspector of Mines.
