New Delhi, dated the 27th November, 2011

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form A to the Commissioner within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form A to the Commissioner within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Commissioner shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
