GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a water supply scheme by operators of a water supply scheme under the Bengal Irrigation Act, 1876, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Executive Engineer, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a water supply scheme shall furnish Form A to the Board within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a water supply scheme shall make an application in Form A to the Board within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a water supply scheme is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of West Bengal.
