GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The publication of a periodical by publishers under the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Act, 1984, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Press Registrar, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every publisher carrying on the publication of a periodical shall furnish Form III to the Press Registrar within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every publisher carrying on the publication of a periodical shall make an application in Form III to the Press Registrar within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the publication of a periodical is undertaken, and the Press Registrar shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
