GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The construction of buildings in a vulnerable area by owners of a building in a vulnerable area under the Karnataka Fire Force Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the District Collector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a building in a vulnerable area carrying on the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area shall furnish Form C to the State Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building in a vulnerable area carrying on the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area shall make an application in Form C to the State Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area is undertaken, and the State Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Karnataka.
