In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 (Maharashtra Act 28 of 1971), the Government of Maharashtra hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 9 shall, subject to its control, also be exercisable by the Rent Controller.
