Bhopal, dated the 25th April, 2011

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sale of excisable articles by licensees under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee carrying on the sale of excisable articles shall furnish Form C to the Government of Madhya Pradesh within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the sale of excisable articles shall make an application in Form C to the Government of Madhya Pradesh within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of excisable articles is undertaken, and the Government of Madhya Pradesh shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
