GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The practice of medicine by registered medical practitioners under the Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every registered medical practitioner carrying on the practice of medicine shall furnish Form 20 to the Government of Karnataka within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every registered medical practitioner carrying on the practice of medicine shall make an application in Form 20 to the Government of Karnataka within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the practice of medicine is undertaken, and the Government of Karnataka shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka.
