GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a factory by occupiers under the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1962, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every occupier carrying on the running of a factory shall furnish Form II to the Labour Court within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupier carrying on the running of a factory shall make an application in Form II to the Labour Court within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a factory is undertaken, and the Labour Court shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Karnataka.
