GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Employment in a covered establishment by employees under the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Social Security Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every employee carrying on employment in a covered establishment shall furnish Form 1 to the appropriate Government within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every employee carrying on employment in a covered establishment shall make an application in Form 1 to the appropriate Government within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which employment in a covered establishment is undertaken, and the appropriate Government shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
