In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 9 shall, subject to its control, also be exercisable by the Inspector of Mines.
