GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Dealing in motor vehicles by dealers under the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1957, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the registering authority, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in motor vehicles shall furnish Form 29 to the State Transport Authority within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in motor vehicles shall make an application in Form 29 to the State Transport Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in motor vehicles is undertaken, and the State Transport Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Karnataka.
