GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Membership of a society by members under the Karnataka Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation and Development) Act, 1966, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every member carrying on membership of a society shall furnish Form A to the Registrar within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every member carrying on membership of a society shall make an application in Form A to the Registrar within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which membership of a society is undertaken, and the Registrar shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
