New Delhi, dated the 26th March, 2010

ORDER

Subject: The occupation of land by occupants under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall furnish Form 12 to the State Government within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall make an application in Form 12 to the State Government within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of land is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
