GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The employment of women by employers of women under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Protection Officer, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every employer of women carrying on the employment of women shall furnish Form III to the District Magistrate within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every employer of women carrying on the employment of women shall make an application in Form III to the District Magistrate within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the employment of women is undertaken, and the District Magistrate shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
