Chennai, dated the 16th December, 2009

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of licensed premises by licensees under the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1972, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Municipal Commissioner, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee carrying on the running of licensed premises shall furnish Form A to the Standing Committee within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the running of licensed premises shall make an application in Form A to the Standing Committee within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of licensed premises is undertaken, and the Standing Committee shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
