GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The occupation of premises by tenants under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Rent Controller, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant carrying on the occupation of premises shall furnish Form A to the Rent Controller within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the occupation of premises shall make an application in Form A to the Rent Controller within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of premises is undertaken, and the Rent Controller shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
