GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The broadcasting of programmes by broadcasters under the Maharashtra Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1953, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Press Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every broadcaster carrying on the broadcasting of programmes shall furnish Form I to the Board of Film Certification within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every broadcaster carrying on the broadcasting of programmes shall make an application in Form I to the Board of Film Certification within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the broadcasting of programmes is undertaken, and the Board of Film Certification shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Maharashtra.
