In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Agricultural Lands (Ceiling on Holdings) Act, 1961 (Maharashtra Act 27 of 1961), the Government of Maharashtra hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 9 shall, subject to its control, also be exercisable by the Registrar.
