Mumbai, dated the 28th September, 2008

GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The receipt of grants by grantees under the Maharashtra Fiscal Responsibility and Budgetary Management Act, 2005, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Drawing and Disbursing Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every grantee carrying on the receipt of grants shall furnish Form GFR 21 to the Comptroller and Auditor-General within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grantee carrying on the receipt of grants shall make an application in Form GFR 21 to the Comptroller and Auditor-General within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt of grants is undertaken, and the Comptroller and Auditor-General shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
