In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Life Insurance Corporation (Modification of Settlement) Act, 1976 (72 of 1976), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 9 shall, subject to its control, also be exercisable by the Tahsildar.
