In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Voluntary Surrender of Salaries (Exemption from Taxation) Act, 1961 (46 of 1961), the Central Government hereby appoints, with effect from the date of publication of this notification, the officers specified in the Table below to exercise the powers of the Central Government within the jurisdiction set out against each.
