GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land by landholders under the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1962, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Collector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every landholder carrying on the cultivation of land shall furnish Form 3 to the Collector within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the cultivation of land shall make an application in Form 3 to the Collector within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka.
