GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The ownership of a building by owners of a building under the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1972, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Municipal Commissioner, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a building carrying on the ownership of a building shall furnish Form C to the Standing Committee within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building carrying on the ownership of a building shall make an application in Form C to the Standing Committee within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the ownership of a building is undertaken, and the Standing Committee shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
