In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972 (Uttar Pradesh Act 13 of 1972), the Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby appoints, with effect from the date of publication of this notification, the officers specified in the Table below to exercise the powers of the Rent Controller within the jurisdiction set out against each.
