GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The carriage of goods by carriers under the Bombay Money-Lenders Act, 1946, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every carrier carrying on the carriage of goods shall furnish Form A to the Controller within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every carrier carrying on the carriage of goods shall make an application in Form A to the Controller within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carriage of goods is undertaken, and the Controller shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra.
