Chennai, dated the 27th November, 2006

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The development of a Special Economic Zone by developers under the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the adjudicating authority, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every developer carrying on the development of a Special Economic Zone shall furnish Form ANF-3A to the Director General within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every developer carrying on the development of a Special Economic Zone shall make an application in Form ANF-3A to the Director General within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the development of a Special Economic Zone is undertaken, and the Director General shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
