GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The conduct of a place of public resort by keepers of a place of public resort under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the officer in charge of a police station, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a place of public resort carrying on the conduct of a place of public resort shall furnish Form II to the State Government within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a place of public resort carrying on the conduct of a place of public resort shall make an application in Form II to the State Government within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of a place of public resort is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
