Bhopal, dated the 6th May, 2006

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form A to the Collector within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form A to the Collector within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
