GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The carrying on of a trade by persons carrying on a trade within the municipal limits under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Municipal Commissioner, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person carrying on a trade within the municipal limits carrying on the carrying on of a trade shall furnish Form C to the Commissioner within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person carrying on a trade within the municipal limits carrying on the carrying on of a trade shall make an application in Form C to the Commissioner within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carrying on of a trade is undertaken, and the Commissioner shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Karnataka.
