GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The execution of work for a principal employer by immediate employers under the Maharashtra Mathadi, Hamal and Other Manual Workers Act, 1969, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Social Security Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every immediate employer carrying on the execution of work for a principal employer shall furnish Form 6 to the appropriate Government within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every immediate employer carrying on the execution of work for a principal employer shall make an application in Form 6 to the appropriate Government within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of work for a principal employer is undertaken, and the appropriate Government shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Maharashtra.
